Ascent

back

In most of the resorts where mountainbike is practised, the ascent is made by a chairlift or one cable railway.

Possibly, a resort can equip specially one or several lifts for the ascent of dévaleurs and users, grace in the hook settled on each dévaleur.

For the tracks of initiation to weak slope, equipped with a ski-lift at fallback speed (1 m/s), the increase is made in a traditional way, the pole between the legs.
To facilitate the increase, a white line, traced with lime, allows to symbolize the trace to be followed.

The last versions of dévaleurs are equipped with a hook on the frame, at the level of gravity center.
It allows traction using an sandow attached on each pole and a use on long and fast skis-lift (2 m/sec).

For the disengageable chairlifts, the devaleur is posed transversely on the seat.

For the chairlifts with speed reducers, the use of adapted hooks is advised.
The loading of the devaleur is done vertically on the side of the seat.
This layout of the devaleur on seat-side allows a quick unloading, as for mountainbikes.
